A Little History
I grew up in the world of electricity.
My family owned a small business in the southern United States—part electrical contracting shop, part retail craft store. An unusual pairing, to say the least, but one that gave me an early and deeply practical understanding of how things are powered, built, and brought to life.
It was there that I first learned what electricity really is—not just as a technical system, but as something foundational, invisible, and essential.
Fast-forward to adulthood, and I found myself drawn to interior spaces and the subtle art of helping people shape them. I fell in love with selecting finishes, textures, and materials that could transform a room into something personal—an environment people might never want to leave.
No matter the medium, though, I always returned to lighting.
There was something about it that felt instinctive. Familiar. Like it had been there all along.
I love it. It must be in my blood.
I believe that when you are truly passionate about what you do, you can make a difference in the world—no matter how small that difference may seem.
And to me, that’s what it’s all about.

At the co-op studio we offer a sampling of decorative lighting fixtures and hardware for various aesthetics.
You can shop on at your leisure or schedule an appointment to have a little help in choosing which fixtures might work the best for your project. We try not to overwhelm you visually by displaying select pieces to represent finishes, composition, details, and craftsmanship.
Shopping for lighting should be fun and stress free - we want to help make it that way!!
We offer design/styling advice, recommendations for local interior designers and electrical installers,
as well as local delivery options for projects around the Upstate New York area.
Discounts are even offered to industry Trade professionals - just ask.

We plan to offer shipping within the Continental United States
as well as digital options to see pieces virtually within your space prior to committing to a particular piece. We are committed to constantly reinventing ourselves to best suit your needs as a consumer and provide superb customer service in the process.
