MADE-to-ORDER

Many lights are specified as 'Made to Order'.  Production will only commence after the required payment terms have been satisfied.  The lead time for made-to-order lights vary, depending on the complexity and size of the piece, as well as the maker's current order backlog.  Lead times will begin once payment has been received and an order confirmation has been issued.  While we aim to have your lights within the specified lead time, please be aware that lead times may vary due to unforeseen production constraints and RA Atelier cannot be held liable for any issues (financial or otherwise) any delays might cause.

Each 'Made to Order' item is handcrafted based on the design, finish, and specifications you select at the time of purchase.  Minor variations in color, texture, finish, dimensions, or pattern may occur due to the handcrafted nature of the artists' work. These variations and minor imperfections enhance the handmade nature of the piece and do not constitute defects.

ALL SALES are FINAL

Because every custom item is made specifically for you, all sales are final.  We do not accept returns, exchanges, or order cancellations once production has begun.  Refunds are only provided in cases where we are unable to complete your order.  Please see the Shipping & Returns page for more details.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
and CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Before placing an order, you agree to:

1.  Review all product details, including measurements, finishes, electrical requirements, and compatibility with your space.

2.  Ensure that your chosen product fits your intended location and meets your local electrical codes.

3.  Consult a licensed electrician if you have questions about installation suitability.

We are not responsible for incorrect measurements, ordering mistakes, or changes of mind after purchase.

INSTALLATION DISCLAIMER

All products are sold as lighting fixtures only, and installation is the sole responsibility of the purchaser and/or a qualified, licensed professional.

We strongly recommend that all fixtures be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with all applicable local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. Upon request, RA Atelier may provide referrals to independent, licensed electricians; however, any such recommendations are provided solely as a courtesy. RA Atelier does not guarantee, warrant, or assume responsibility for the work, conduct, or qualifications of any third-party installer.

By purchasing and/or accepting delivery of any RA Atelier product, the client acknowledges and agrees that RA Atelier bears no responsibility or liability for installation, mounting, wiring, compatibility with existing electrical systems, or any resulting damage, injury, or loss arising from improper installation or use.

Ownership, risk of loss, and all responsibility for the product transfer to the client upon completion of sale and/or delivery, as applicable. RA Atelier shall not be held liable for any issues arising after the completion of the transaction, including but not limited to installation-related complications or site conditions.

Clients assume full responsibility for ensuring that all installation conditions are appropriate and compliant prior to installation.

ELECTRICAL COMPLIANCE
and CODE RESPONSIBILITY

All lighting fixtures sold by RA Atelier are designed and manufactured with general safety standards in mind and in accordance with commonly accepted practices for decorative and architectural lighting. However, electrical codes, regulations, and installation requirements may vary significantly by jurisdiction.

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser, installer, and/or end user to ensure that any RA Atelier product complies with all applicable local, state, provincial, and national building and electrical codes prior to installation and use.

RA Atelier makes no representations or warranties regarding code compliance in any specific region or application. We are not responsible for, and expressly disclaim any liability arising from, failures to meet local regulatory requirements, inspection standards, or permitting conditions.

Clients are strongly encouraged to consult a licensed electrician or qualified professional to confirm suitability, compatibility, and compliance before installation.

By purchasing and installing RA Atelier products, the client acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for ensuring adherence to all applicable codes and regulations.

LEAD TIMES and SHIPPING

Estimated production lead times are provided at the time of checkout for reference only and may be subject to change based on material availability, artisan schedules, and production conditions.
RA Atelier reserves the right to adjust lead times as necessary to ensure the integrity and quality of each piece.

Once an order has shipped, all transit times are the responsibility of the selected carrier and are beyond the control of RA Atelier. Shipping timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
